That became my goal, Can I have the team understand the mission so well? Can the team be so well trained? Can the team be so empowered that I don’t have to do anything

Is there an opportunity for you to advance in the forseeable future?
- If that doesn’t exist, you need to start figuring out what a possible exit strategy can be.
If you work for me and I know you are a good worker and I know you were a good leader, I wouldn’t let you leave. I would figure out how to get you into a position where you are going to stay.
- What kind of relationship do you have with that senior leader?
No matter what you are doing if you have the right mindset, you are going to get mentored all the time. If you have a good relationship with your leader, and they start to understand your capabilities and what you have going on, you can get a promotion.
Take ownership of that situation, and say ok, i am not exactly sure what my path is, how do I find it out?

- Listen to each other
- If you want someone to listen to you, you listen to them.
- Respect
- Influence. Be open about someones ideas, because you can influence them if you listen and implement their ideas.
- Caring.
